Vocabulary Booster is a focused 4-week English programme for Year 4 pupils who want to improve their vocabulary, writing, reading comprehension, and verbal reasoning skills. Your child learns new words through real examples, word patterns, and practical activities instead of memorising long word lists.

These language skills continue to support learning throughout primary school and provide a solid foundation for Year 5.

The programme also develops important comprehension and reasoning skills. By recognising context clues, children become more independent readers and gain confidence when tackling challenging texts. These skills also support preparation for future 11 Plus verbal reasoning and English entrance examinations.

Vocabulary Booster creates an enjoyable learning environment where children actively participate in games, quizzes, collaborative activities, and weekly challenges. Every lesson builds on previous learning so that new vocabulary becomes part of the child’s everyday language rather than words that are quickly forgotten.
